How we got here: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013

Over the last 2 years, Microsoft has been aggressively and intelligently investing in the CRM realm. The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 release last November was the first major step toward rolling out a completely redesigned and upgraded Dynamics CRM tool. Each primary feature of a valuable CRM system (customer service, sales, and marketing) was addresses and upgraded via acquisition of an already successful product.

Since the fall of 2012, here are the aggressive additions that Microsoft has completed to produce Dynamics CRM 2013:

While the launch of the core Dynamics CRM 2013 product occurred in November, the highly touted features are expected to roll out sometime this quarter. Based on Microsoft’s perceived adoption of a 6 month major release schedule, the updates will probably be available in late May/early June.
