Meet The Velosio Team

With more than 40 years of industry experience, James Bowman leads the Velosio Sales, Marketing, and Cloud teams as the organization expands its business ecosystem and furthers the company’s leadership in cloud solutions. Prior to the formation of Velosio, Bowman was president and CEO of SBS Group for more than 17 years, where he oversaw the growth of the company from a small local IT partner into a leading international Microsoft solution provider. He is a member the Microsoft Partner and Product Advisory Councils and gives key input to the direction of Microsoft’s business applications. An EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, he has also been instrumental in creating a multi-year Best Places to Work recognized workplace.  A graduate of Rider University, Bowman holds a BS in Accounting and Marketing.  

A founder of Velosio, Joe Longo serves as president and CEO. He has overall responsibility for leading the Velosio team to deliver on its mission, vision, values and goals. Longo has more than 30 years of proven success delivering revenue growth and shareholder value including extensive experience spanning president, CEO, COO, principal and board of director roles, and leadership through multiple bull and bear markets and numerous equity events.  He is a strong problem solver with a passion to move a business forward via performance optimization, strategic planning and financial performance.

Robbie Morrison drives strategy at Velosio and provides business and technical leadership across solutions and product offerings. Morrison is also responsible for overseeing the company’s international operations. Prior to Velosio, Morrison served as chief solution strategist at SBS Group and ERP practice director at Solugenix Corporation. Morrison earned his BS in Business Management at Kennesaw State University and his MBA in Business Administration, Management, and International Business at the University of Georgia.

Rob Urbanowicz oversees the overall growth, strategy, and service delivery for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 practice and works closely with our Enterprise clients . He came to Velosio from Socius, where he led the Dynamics CE and F&O practices. Before joining Socius, he was a 15 year veteran at Deloitte Consulting, a senior director of marketing, sales, and CRM at Reynolds & Reynolds and SMARTworks LLC, vice president of client services at Geehan Group and founding partner at CoreBlue LLC.

Keith Goedde joined Velosio in August 2019 and is focused on growing the Velosio cloud and managed services practice. Prior to joining Velosio, Goedde lead the solution engineering teams for Nationwide Insurance and vice president at Netsmart Technologies. He has over 15 years of experience leading cloud and digital transformations.

Dominic Cristelli oversees the Velosio sales organization including acquisitions, customer relationships, and sales operations. He and his teams focus on driving and enabling the delivery of solutions and services that support our clients’ digital transformation. Cristelli joined Velosio in February 2018. Prior to that, he was with Tribridge for almost 13 years where he served in several different roles including director of customer sales and strategy. In addition, he was a business development manager at ePartners and sales executive at Verso Technologies. Cristelli attended Niagara University where he earned a BS in Accounting.

Scott May is responsible for overseeing the Velosio indirect partner program, Stratos Cloud Alliance. He has been with Velosio since its inception, coming to the organization from SBS Group where he was director of channel programs. He joined SBS in October 2009 as senior account executive and prior to that was national director of new business development at Six Disciplines, LLC. May also served as regional sales manager at MaxQ Technologies. May holds a BS in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Findlay.

Marcel Narish joined Velosio in October 2018 and oversees the organization’s customer and digital marketing as well as internal and external communications. Before joining the company, Narish spent 12 years with Microsoft in various roles including partner marketing advisor, SMB segment lead, and channel sales manager. In addition, Narish was global marketing director at Tectura. Narish received her BSBA in Marketing at The Ohio State University.

Ray Cardonne was named chief financial officer in January 2020. He joined Velosio as vice president of operations, coming from SBS Group, where he led financial operations for three years. Cardonne specializes in corporate development activities including M&A, divestitures, strategic alliances, and licensing. Cardonne also served as CFO at DLB Associates Consulting Engineers, BCI Communications, and Refact Optical Group. Cardonne earned his MBA in Finance and an MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Lehigh University.

Hersch Patel leads the Velosio Client Success Organization and is responsible for formulating and executing projects designed to enable clients to accelerate growth and profitability. Prior to Velosio, he was managing director at Socius, where he spent more than 21 years helping grow the business before it merged with SBS Group to become Velosio. Before joining Socius, Patel served as a consultant and corporate accountant. Patel earned his BS in Business Administration and Accounting at Miami University.

Colleen Dorr is responsible for aligning corporate objectives with innovative and scalable talent initiatives and programs to support the company’s growth. She guides the human resources organization recruiting, HR operations, and corporate benefits. Prior to Velosio, Dorr served as employee and labor relations consultant at The Ohio State University, human resources recruiter at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and human resources generalist at Netsmart Technologies. Dorr earned her MBA at The Ohio State University.
