As a long-standing member of the Microsoft Partner Ecosystem, this time of year, Microsoft’s fiscal New Year, has been a time to both reflect and re-energize for the year ahead. And while I am not what you would consider a blogger, this year, I am truly humbled by Velosio’s accomplishments and as Microsoft Inspire 2021 kicks off this week, truly inspired for the year to come.
No matter who you are, what business you are in, the size of your company, the challenges faced this past year have had impact. Some good. Some bad. In many ways, despite the differences, a common denominator businesses have shared is their adoption and leverage of “technology”. Whether it was how to support the over-night “WFH” transition, measuring your security score as malicious cyber-attacks scale to new heights – no matter what size your business, or analyzing how your company could streamline and improve processes through automation and integration of systems, each business initiative is supported through technology.
I am so proud of how our Velosio team has supported both our partners and our clients navigate these challenges. Our impact on the community was also recognized by Microsoft and will be celebrated this week at Microsoft’s 2021 Inspire partner event. The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards acknowledge outstanding successes and innovations by partners in over 100 countries and in a wide variety of categories, and our team was honored both at the global partner level for our achievements working with Indirect CSP Resellers, and as a Microsoft US Partner Award Winner celebrating our success with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
As I look in the rear view mirror, there are many that contributed to our Microsoft FY21 accomplishments. First our Velosio team members. As a technology and consulting firm, our team members are the driving force of our company. With team members across North America, India, and parts of Europe, while this past year required a shift to 100% virtual, we witnessed our team tackling challenges with innovation and creativity, supporting each other, our clients, and partners, to build stronger relationships. From internal team virtual happy hours and game nights to virtual tours of potential prospects businesses to virtual deployment of cloud-based business applications, to simply posting out ‘how to’ ideas for anyone struggling with the shift to work from home, our team was all in.
Next, our partner Microsoft. There are too many to name, but from Microsoft Executives to the Field Sellers, Inside Sellers, Solution and Technical Specialists, the Development Teams, GTM Teams, and our PDM, the support, client offers, and insights shared supported our navigation to deliver the solutions and technologies to support our clients and partners.
And finally our clients and partners. For businesses of any size in any industry, technology is the key to surviving in uncertain times and thriving in the best of times.
However, today’s technology choices can be overwhelming and complicated. The pace at which new tech comes to market further complicate decisions. Should you primarily rely on cloud-based systems or have everything on site? What vendors, applications, services, equipment, networking technologies, development tools, disaster recovery measures, and security defenses will best drive your business forward?
Make just one decision. Choose a technology partner that provides the depth and breadth of solutions and services you need to run a successful business. One that understands your business and delivers on promises. And makes your digital journey smooth and easy with the flexibility to implement transformational technologies—but doesn’t scrap the existing systems serving you well.
Velosio is that choice. One decision. One partnership. Endless potential. Thank you to our clients and partners who have entrusted our team to support their journey. Team Velosio is excited to kick-off Microsoft FY22 and are in position to embrace all that Microsoft has to support your business’s cloud journey. www.velosio.com
