Scapta and Velosio Sign Contract for Distribution of Shopify Connector in North America

Scapta and Velosio cement strategic partnership to distribute newly launched Scapta Shopify Connector for Microsoft Dynamics BC in US market.

    The agreement between Scapta and Velosio cements a strategic partnership to distribute newly launched Scapta Shopify Connector for Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.  The solution, developed by Belgian company Scapta, will be made available to Shopify stores worldwide, including more than 500,000 in the US market. 

    COLUMBUS, OH, October 17, 2018 — Shopify provides e-commerce solutions to some 600,000 retailers around the globe which account for one million active users and combined online sales of $72 billion USD. Shopify clients using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central require a secure integration of online sales with back office financials, inventory and supply chain management. That’s why Scapta developed the Scapta Shopify Connector, an app that easily links the e-commerce platform with Microsoft’s leading cloud solution for business operations. Clients not currently using Shopify or Dynamics 365 will be able to adopt both platforms as a value-added bundle.

    Scapta Shopify Connector Launch in US Market

    The Scapta Shopify Connector was successfully launched in September 2018 and made available on Microsoft AppSource, a B2B app store for Microsoft business applications. As part of the launch, Scapta showcased the solution at Directions North America in San Diego for Microsoft Dynamics partners. The Scapta Shopify Connector was received quite favorably, leading to an initial distribution agreement between the two companies.
