Gartner names SYSPRO a niche player in the ERP for Product-Centric Midmarket Magic Quadrant. Read more about their inclusion in today's post.
Gartner recently released their annual Magic Quadrant for ERP for Product-Centric Midmarket Companies and included SYSPRO in the Niche Player quadrant.
According to Gartner, while Niche Players may lack the robustness of market-leading systems, they can be the ideal choice for companies with fewer complexity requirements or in specific target industries.
SYSPRO took a major step in completeness of vision this year with the release of version 6.1 which included workflow services, inventory optimization, process modeling and more-integrated analytics for enterprise performance management as well as functional enhancements to the following areas:
- Financial management
- CRM
- SCM
- Production and application management
However, due to the timing of the new release, Gartner was not able to measure SYSPRO’s ability to execute on their vision.
With version 7 scheduled for release later in 2011, SYSPRO continues to innovate and invest in areas that will serve to improve the product’s vision and help SYSPRO to continue to keep pace with technology and industry demands.
