In this video, Pre-Sales Solution Engineer, Todd Waterman, provides viewers with a demo of production planning within SilverLeaf. Todd starts in the "Production Manager" role center, therefore, everything on the screen and home dashboard have to do with what would make sense for a grower and the day-to-day/production.

In this demo, Todd shows how production planning within SilverLeaf enables growers with the ability to create a demand forecast - a glorified spreadsheet as we call it - say by grasses, shrubs, annuals. You can split these forecasts up however you want. You can view by week, by day, by month, quarter or year - and filter by different categories, locations, etc.

For this demo, Todd creates a demand forecast for week 20 in 2024, and the system populates how many you need to be sellable at that date - helping you to plan what you need to grow and dial down.

Todd shows the planning worksheet - the tool he calls "the one tool to rule them all" - which helps growers optimize their planning by suggestions based on historical data (demand forecast) but it also looks at all the demand and supply throughout your whole system and advises you to make more or make less.

In this demo video, Todd Waterman shows how greenhouse growers can efficiently execute production using SilverLeaf. At this point, the user would have already created a production order using a demand forecast, and we are at the point now that we actually need to execute. This part is simple. Todd shows how to filter based on the location you are concerned with, and shows how the software shows you all the orders in production. How do we register? We use the output journal. Instead of order by order, you can generate rows by the production orders, filter by location, and the output journal pulls all the different steps and grow times for the actual set up of these orders. Like transplant, space it, etc.

If you are just concerned with transplanting, you can filter by that. You can filter by week, or date you need.

This demo shows how SilverLeaf makes it very simple for the grower to execute production orders and dial down into information they may need to optimize or make decisions quickly.

The "Speed Order Entry" feature streamlines the process of creating sales orders. It begins with users navigating to the Sales Orders page, where they can quickly initiate a new order. Traditionally, creating sales orders involved painstakingly entering items line by line.

However, the SilverLeaf system introduces a game-changing approach. Users can leverage user-defined filters that enable them to efficiently set up the items they intend to include in an order. These filters enhance efficiency and tailor the order entry process to meet specific needs. After selecting a filter, users can further refine or edit its parameters if required. The result is an accelerated order entry process that eliminates unnecessary steps.

Speed Order Entry:
Users can quickly create sales orders using filters they define.
Items meeting the filter criteria are listed.
Quantities are entered, and items are added to the order.

For "Multi-Order Management," cannabis operators struggle with numerous orders, particularly during peak seasons. SilverLeaf steps in as a comprehensive solution. Users can effortlessly filter and search for specific customers or orders to streamline the editing process. An exciting aspect is the ability to manage multiple orders within a single screen, effectively eliminating the need for navigating through various interfaces. This centralized management view allows users to access vital order details and make edits in a convenient manner. They can even opt to edit orders in Microsoft Excel and reintegrate the changes seamlessly!
