A pricing change update is coming that is set to impact some Dynamics 365 users. For the first time in over five years, Microsoft is adjusting its pricing for Dynamics 365. This update reflects the immense value that has been added to the platform since the last pricing revision, with continuous innovations that have transformed how businesses manage CRM and ERP processes.

    Why the Change?

Since the previous pricing update, Dynamics 365 has evolved into a powerful suite of connected applications that span across various business functions—from marketing and sales to customer service, finance, and operations. Each year, Microsoft rolls out hundreds of new features and enhancements, all designed to help your team work more efficiently, reclaim valuable time, and collaborate seamlessly. These improvements have significantly boosted the platform’s capabilities, making it a more integral part of your business operations.

    What’s Changing?

Starting October 1, 2024, the following Dynamics 365 products will see a price adjustment:

Please note that prices for Dynamics 365 on-premises customer engagement and operations products will increase by the same percentage as the respective cloud versions. Pricing for cloud products not listed above, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, will remain unchanged.

These changes will apply globally to new and existing customers (upon renewal) starting October 1, 2024. Products will be priced comparably in other currencies. Additionally, to comply with local regulations, US government list prices for the same products will increase by 10% effective October 1, 2024, followed by another smaller increase on October 1, 2025, to achieve parity with the commercial pricing outlined above.

No Impact on Dynamics 365 Business Central

One key point to highlight is that this price adjustment does not affect Dynamics 365 Business Central. Pricing for this product, along with certain other cloud products not listed above, will remain unchanged.
