Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 R2 has added over 25+ features and enhancements specifically requested by the customers. They listened and now have delivered what we wanted! Masking social security numbers on payroll reports, being one of the most popular requests, is the first feature we’ll discuss.
The end has come for customers having to modify their payroll reports in GP to mask the Social Security Numbers. Payroll Administrators can now mask the Social Security Numbers on a predefined list of reports within Microsoft Dynamics GP without having to make Report Writer modifications. The administrator still has the flexibility to choose not to mask the Social Security Number for reports that need it displayed. The employee’s social security number field will appear with an XXX-XX-XXXX mask when the Payroll Administrator selects to apply the mask for one of the predefined reports.
