With Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Financials businesses are offered a wide array of functions and features. One perk is the ability to integrate your organization’s pre-existing bank accounts in to the Dynamics 365 for Financials system for easy importing, organizing, and logging information from your bank accounts. These bank feeds are free for banks in the US and Canada.
The Bank Link functionality is fairly simple to set up. From the Bank Feed screen users can create a new linked bank account. The first time they do this they will be prompted to enable the bank feed service. An easy to operate search function opens, where users can search the large list of supported banks to find theirs. They will be prompted to enter their log-in information for their online banking to log in and link their account in to the Dynamics for Financials system. More information can be added after the initial link is established. Users have no cap or limit to how many accounts can be linked in to the system.

Once the account is linked in to the system users can import their transactions. This can be done manually, or by setting up an automatic uplink through the payment recognition journal page. This ensures that the data is always up to date without someone having to take the time to manually refresh it. The data brought in to Dynamics 365 for Financials is also easily exportable to accountants or other employees who may need it.
