How much time do you think you waste during the day doing the same, repetitive action? How long do you spend searching for an email attachment that you just can’t locate or generating leads for your staff? Microsoft Flow helps you work less but do more by creating automated workflows in a few quick steps.
Let’s take a look at 5 examples of how Flow can help you streamline your day.
Modernize approvals to benefit both SMB companies and enterprise.
No need to re-create the wheel to create approval flows for your SMB business.. No need to overcome objections of legacy systems at the enterprise level. You can create an approval process in seconds by leveraging templates Flow’s modern approval workflow.
In addition, those processes are securely authenticated using Azure Active Directory so you can ensure security and are accessible on any device. At the same time, you can access these approvals in other Microsoft products like Outlook. That integration means users can approve tasks without leaving their inbox or on their smartphone.
Save time with email and social media shortcuts.
My personal favorite is the ability to save Office 365 email attachments to One Drive for Business. Never lose attachments again and have them at your fingertips on any device you use for Office.
Capture tweets or Facebook messages about your business.
Capture tweets and messages in an Excel file or table and leverage those messages to create a lead in your CRM system. You can then receive notifications a new lead is created. To accomplish this, we’re going to set up a multi-step Flow to automatically capture the lead.
Within Flow you select the Twitter template. Scroll over the nearly 60 Flows within that template and select ‘Create Dynamics lead’. You define the keywords pertinent to your business to automatically search Twitter and link your Dynamics to the Flow. You can even select a notification when new leads appear in your CRM. Just like that, you’ve created a Flow that will help you capture and generate leads.
Connect your favorite services.
Connect and sync with the tools you use, regardless of whether or not the services are Microsoft applications. For instance, you can sync your GoToWebinar schedule with your Google Calendar. Or you can get Slack notifications when a new file is uploaded to your Dropbox folder. Using these connectors saves you time and eliminates potential errors in the everyday tasks you perform. Use your time to be more productive!
Combine shortcuts, data and apps without code.
Automation shortcuts of Flow, real-time data analytics of Power BI, with Power Apps to create sophisticated business solutions, all without the need to code. I don’t know about you, but coding has always intimated me. By leveraging the Common Data Service you can pull insights from your data with Power BI, build apps with Power Apps and then create automations with Flow to help drive your own digital transformation.
All these apps just work, without the heavy coding it would require in the past. Only Microsoft allows you all the tools to leverage your data in such a way to give you a huge advantage over your competitors.
