Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 comes out of the box with several role centers that contain user-specific pieces of information for each of those roles. This allows easier navigation and customizable features for each user.
The layout of the role center also contributes heavily to the ease of navigation. It is an intuitive, Microsoft typical layout with a side navigation pane and a top ribbon of functions.
The entire layout and the elements within are completely configurable by the user to fit your unique needs. For example, you can have data charts, a list of important customers and venders, a notification section, reports and more.
A key element of this layout is the activities center, which provides very specific information for each role. It has activity cues that show the work being done and which activities you decide you need to pay attention to.
The elements of the role center are easy to drill into with clickable tiles and links. Within NAV, if there is an underline, you can continue to drill deeper into that field to find the specific information you need with the ability to drill back and forth with ease. In addition, NAV allows you to filter and sort your information in a way that makes sense to you, allowing you to better understand your data.
The customizable layout and easy navigation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 will provide you with any information you may need at a glance.
