During Convergence 2013, Microsoft Dynamics ERP product managers shared special feature packs for the warehousing, transportation, and mobility industries included in the 2013 release of Microsoft Dynamics AX.
The AX team told Convergence attendees that the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2013 release will include RFID capabilities, demand planning, robust accounting and budget planning functionality, and mobile apps for Smartphones and tablets that include point of sale functions. Plans are underway for the 2014 release which may include a new user interface and Azure-native options, as well as on-premise and private cloud options.
